DCF Community Awareness Day 5K Race 1 Mile Family Walk Kids Fun Run Waterbury's Library Park

T-shirts - Short sleeve t-shirts given to all pre-registered
5K and 1 Mile Family Walk participants and the first 100 raceday
5K and 1 Mile Family Walk entrants. |

Awards will be presented to top three race
finishers in each age group for the 5K. Age Groups are Men &
Women 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+.
Ribbons will be given to all
finishers in the Kids Run Run.

|
Celebrate National Child Abuse Prevention Month and run or walk to raise public awareness of the needs of our children regarding Adoption, Foster Care, and Mentoring. Race proceeds will benefit the State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families Community Awareness Fund. Two aid stations on the 5K course.

Waterbury's Library Park - 267 Grand St. From Hartford- I-84 West Exit 21, take ramp for Meadow St toward Bank St. Turn right onto Field St. Turn left onto Grand St. From New Haven- Follow 69 North to 84 West and follow above directions. From Danbury - I-84 East Exit 21 "Meadow St." Right on Meadow St. Go through two traffic lights. You will see the clock tower on left, bear right just before the third light. The library is the first building on the right.
