| The
Guilford Savings Bank Run is a 4 mile race starting
and finishing at Jacobs Beach in Guilford, CT. The flat
course passes historic homes, an historic town green and scenic
bridges. The event also includes a 1/2 mile noncompetitive
children's fun run. This year's event
will include a cookout during the post race celebration. |

| The event benefits a number of local
charities.
Since
1995, the event has raised over $40,000 for local charities. Last year’s
race field increased over 20% from 2005 and contributed $3,500 to local
organizations to support housing needs for the disadvantaged in our
community and other community programs. |

Awards will be given to top
three race finishers in each age category for the 4 Mile race. Divisions
are Men & Women, 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ and wheelchair (1st only).
Finisher ribbons will be given to
all the kids finishing the fun run. |

Right onto Seaside Ave. Jacobs Beach is on left. From South: I-95 West to Exit 58. Left off exit onto Rt. 77. Follow above directions. |
