picturesque East Rock Park. The first half of the course is
uphill and the second half is downhill.

Benefits:
IRIS –
Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services
began as the refugee resettlement arm of Episcopal Social
Service, Inc., welcoming its first family in 1982. In the 25
years of its existence, IRIS has resettled over 4,000 people.
Last year IRIS welcomed 112 refugees from 19 countries. Nearly
one half came from Africa.
IRIS is a program of the
Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut
and is the local affiliate of
Episcopal Migration Ministries
and the
Immigration and Refugee Program of Church
World Service.

gift certificate to New Haven’s Archie Moore’s Bar and Restaurant.

Post Race Party
After the race, enjoy a post race party with food, beverages and
entertainment at Wilbur Cross High School.

Awards -
Given to first 3 finishers in each age division. 12 and under, 13-19,
20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ and Wheelchair. Awards also
given for best individual costume and group costume.

Directions to New Haven’s Wilbur Cross High School:
From Bridgeport:
I-95 North to I-91 North (exit 48 – left hand exit). Get off at exit 6 (left
hand exit). Right onto Willow St. Right onto Mitchell Dr. High School is on
the right in 200 yards.
From New London:
I -95 South to I-91 North (exit 48). Continue directions from above.
From Hartford:
I-91 South to exit 6 (right hand exit). Continue directions from above. |
