Friend, We hope you'll join us on Sunday morning, September 28, 2008 for the Tommy Fund Family Day held at Connecticut Tennis Center in New Haven. Family Day will feature the annual Tommy Fund "Run for the Kids", a 5 Kilometer run, a .3 mile fun run. There is also a "Stroll for the Kids," a 2 mile walk. Bring the family - there will be fun for all including a moon walk, kids activities, a cookout and DJ, plus a whole lot more. Also, the first 800 to register will receive a free long sleeve T-shirt. If you have been a participant in the past, you already know what a fun-filled morning this can be. If you haven't joined the hundreds of other participants in previous years, you will want to do so this year. Bring your friends and families. If they don't run, they can enjoy walking with others who are supporting a great cause. The Tommy Fund for Childhood Cancer is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to provide emotional, education, recreational and medical support to children with cancer and their families. Since its inception, the Tommy Fund has donated over $3.5 million for pediatric oncology programs and services at Yale-New Have Children's Hospital. Your support can make a difference in the life a child. Please be at the Connecticut Tennis Center, New Haven, Connecticut on Sunday, September 28, 2008 so you can run or stroll for the kids! on line until 9/26/08. Participants raising $100 or more will not
have to pay registration fee.
