The Half Marathon (CT05004PH) and 5K (CT05002PH) are both certified courses. The scenic Half Marathon loop course runs through Danbury, Bethel and Redding. The 5K and Kids Run courses are run entirely within Danbury.

Race Day Schedule:

7:00 a.m. – Packet pick-up and late registration

9:00 a.m. – Union Savings Bank Kids Run start (1/2 mile)

9:15 a.m. – Half Marathon start

9:25 a.m. – 5K start

9:40 a.m.  – 12:00 p.m. – Post race party with live music

10:30 a.m. – 5K awards

11:15 a.m. – Half Marathon awards

EARLY Packet Pick-Up: April 1st & 2nd, Noon-6pm at Woodbridge – Brookfield Running Co., 800 Federal Road, Brookfield.

Technical running shirts to the first 1,000 Half Marathon and 5K entrants!

Medals to all Half Marathon finishers!

Awards: Top three finishers in each age division for both races. Men’s and women’s divisions: 12 & under (5K only), 13-19 (5K only), 19 & under (Half Marathon only), 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Prize Money (Half Marathon only): Open male & female 1st: $200, 2nd: $100, 3rd: $50

  • 9:15 START TIME!
  • Shower and changing facilities located inside the War Memorial.
  • Parking available at Roger’s Park.
  • Aid stations approximately every two miles along the Half Marathon course.
  • One aid station on the 5K course.
  • Two bands on the Half Marathon race course and one in the finish area.
  • Gatorade available at 6 of the 7 event aid stations.
  • GU gel available at the 9 mile aid station.
  • War Memorial at Rogers Park: 1 Memorial Drive, Danbury, CT 06810

DANBURY WAR MEMORIAL The Danbury War Memorial Association, Inc. is a non-profit recreational and educational facility, located in Rogers Park. It is governed by a Board of Managers and Trustees. The War Memorial has served the greater Danbury area since 1951 in offering recreational and cultural activities to the surrounding communities. The logo over the front door; “TO HONOR THE DEAD, TO SERVE THE LIVING” states the purpose of the War Memorial. Via city support, and a conscientious staff, the War Memorial offers a diversified program of indoor activities, a complete fitness center, and a base for community events.

TEAM RED, WHITE  & BLUE  Team Red, White & Blue is a national organization ( 501c3) working to transform the way America supports its wounded veterans when they return from active duty. The intention is to create a community of veterans, their families, and American citizens who can enjoy social interaction and shared experiences through physical activities and events.


We have grown in just a few short years to roughly 60,000 members across the country and are serving veterans and active duty military across the global with over 120 chapters with a local chapter in Danbury, CT.  This effort is a grassroots initiative driven mainly by dedicated volunteers and generous community support.
