Fundraise for Newtown Police Union, Local 3153.

On December 14, 2012 tragedy struck the small town of Newtown, CT. As a result many Newtown Police Officers have been unable to return to work due to mental and physical stress from witnessing this tragedy. During this time of extended leave officers have had to use sick time and unfortunately that sick time is coming close to running out. Once that happens many officers will be left without a full paycheck.

The Newtown Police Union is raising funds to support their fellow officers’ ongoing personal and medical expenses associated with dealing with this tragedy.

Raise $100 or more for the Newtown Police Union and receive a free entry into either Danbury Road Race. Once you have reached $100 contact kristin.jbsports@snet.net for details on how to claim your free entry.

The Greater Danbury Half Marathon & 5K will once again be presented by the Housatonic Valley Sports Organizing Committee.
