5K Run, 2-Mile Walk, Kids Fun Run
Flatest 5K course in New Haven! Walk also passes through Westville and is flat. Kids Fun Run is run inside the CT Tennis Center at Yale. All events start and finish inside CT Tennis Center at Yale.
All pre-registered participants will receive a FREE race shirt!
Post Race Party: All participants are invited to enjoy a post race party with food, beverages, family activities and entertainment.
Police/Fire Challenge: We encourage all police and fire personnel to participate in our Police/Fire Team Competition in the 5K. Top three scores from each department will be used to determine winner. Awards given to top three departments. Winning team will receive a trophy and bragging rights for the year!

9:30am – Survivor recognition ceremony
9:45am – Kids Fun Run start
10:15am – 5K & 2-Mile Walk start

Awards Top three Men & Women 5K finishers in each division, 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ and Wheelchair.

The Tommy Fund is an independent, not for profit organization whose mission is to provide emotional, educational, recreational and medical support to children with cancer and their families. The Tommy Fund provides financial assistance to families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment at The Tommy Fund for Childhood Cancer Clinic located at the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
The fund is flexible and can meet a variety of needs including:
• Rent or mortgage payments
• Utility bills and other household expenses
• Free parking at the hospital for any
patient’s parent or caregiver
• Toys, games and other activities
The Tommy Fund also provides financial assistance for support groups for patients, parents and siblings; the “Quiet Room,” refuge for parents in the Pediatric Specialty Center; recreational equipment in the pediatric specialty center and the annual holiday party for patients, family and staff.
