Are you up for a challenge this Spring?

The inaugural Trailblazer Rock the Gauntlet is part of the Trailblazer Race Series (Trailblazer Run the Gauntlet takes place in October 2014.) Rock the Gauntlet features a 5K course with 15-20 man-made and natural obstacles at New Haven’s East Rock Park. Run as an individual or get a team together and compete in our team competition.

Race is limited to 1,000 participants –two starting heats are available for participants to choose from. Student discounts are also available.

After the race, participants are invited to enjoy a post-race party featuring food, refreshments and live entertainment. Awards given to top three male and females in each age group and for the team competition.

Raceday Schedule:

7-8:45am             Packet pick-up/late registration at East Rock Park

9:00am                1st heat begins

9:15am                Post race party begins

10:00am              2nd heat begins

11:30am              Awards ceremony

Join our team competition!

Participants can register as part of a team in the following categories: Family, Corporate and Open

Team Competition Information:

Teams can have an unlimited number of participants but must have a minimum of 3 people.

The top 3 fastest times from each team will be used in determining the team’s overall placement.

Awards will be given to the top 3 teams in each category.

Each team can only register for one category.

Team members must enter the same Team Name when registering.

All team members must participate in the SAME HEAT. Teams with members in multiple heats will be disqualified.

Team categories:

Family Team – all team members must be related

Corporate Team – all team members must be current employees at the same company

Open Team – any group of 3 or more people
